Jamnager is a major brass manufacturing city to the North of Mumbia. Scrap metal lands at Mumbia where it is loaded onto smaller ships to reach Jamanger. It is sorted – graded – melted in furnaces – and worked into saleable components.

With labour being inexpensive the factories tend to be labour intensive.

Meetings took place with Jamnager Brass Components (Conex) – Parvati Industries – Raj Laxmi Industries – Max Brass
